Are you studying to become a nurse or a doctor? Do you want an exciting summer job where you can combine care with medical technology? The dialysis unit is a smaller nurse-led clinic and is a branch of the dialysis unit in Falun. There are seven treatment places, and currently, there are 12 patients being treated. Our regular opening hours are Mon-Fri from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with weekend shifts every other week. During the summer, we have a special summer schedule that means working double shifts from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (you are off on other days).

Summer Temporary Position: Nursing Staff in Training, Dialysis Unit Ludvika

As nursing staff in training at the dialysis unit, you will be responsible for care and prescribed dialysis treatment together with nurses. The work is an exciting combination of care and medical technology. The care needs vary depending on the patient's general condition. Therefore, the work can quickly shift from monitoring to handling acute conditions. Other tasks include inventory management, some administrative duties, and serving refreshments to dialysis patients during treatment, which is a highlight for the patients!

The regular training period is 5 weeks but can be adjusted based on previous experience, with a minimum of 15-20 shifts. Training should take place before the summer temporary position and as a part-time employment according to agreement.
